Extension of Time and upon perusing earlier order of this Court dated 25.08.2023, and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. Kathirvela, Advocate for the Petitioner and Mr.Muthumanickam, Government Advocate for the respondent(s), this Court made the following order: This petition has been filed to extend the time for depositing a sum of Rs.50,000/- as non-refundable deposit on the file of the trial Court in Crl.R.C.(MD) No.382 of 2022 dated 20.04.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to ill heath and financial constraints, the petitioner could not comply with the order of this Court dated 20.04.2022 and he is willing to deposit the said amount. Hence, he seeks further time.
3. Considering the reasons stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and time is extended for further two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
