ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to issue Licence to the petitioner for M/s.SGS Wellness in T.S.No.8, Door No.82/4, New Road Street, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District by considering his representations dated 12.06.2025 and 01.07.2025.
2. The petitioner intends to start a spa under the name SGS wellness. Therefore, in this connection, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the first respondent on 12.06.2025 followed by a reminder on 01.07.2025. It is submitted that despite the reminder no action has been taken by the first respondent.
3. The learned Government Advocate for the second respondent submits that the petitioner's representations will be considered and disposed of in accordance with Rule 299 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023.

Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to give a report to the first respondent and the first respondent is thereafter directed to consider the petitioner's representations and issue an appropriate licence, if the petitioner satisfies the other requirements of the Act and other applicable statutory regulations. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
