PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 12.03.2025 in terms of Lalita Kumari Vs State of U.P. reported in 2014 (2) SCCI within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner with a grievance that his complaint, dated, 12.03.2025 has not been enquired by the respondent police, has filed this writ petition, seeking a Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 12.03.2025, as per the dictum laid down by the Honourable Supreme Court, in Lalita Kumari Vs State of Uttar Pradesh, reported in 2014

(2) SCCI within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 31.01.2025 and the same was received on 05.02.2025. They are conducting current paper enquiry. While so, another complaint was sent by the petitioner on 12.03.2025 through post and that was also enquired. The petitioner has filed this writ petition, by suppressing the earlier complaint lodged by him before the Superintendent of Police on 31.01.2025. 2/4

3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner has not approached this Court with clean hands, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
