ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondent to issue patta in his name in respect of the property situated in Old Survey No.343/203, New Survey No.98, measuring to an extent of 3150 sq.ft, in Aruppukottai Village, Aruppukottai Sub Division, Virudhunagar District, by considering his application dated 11.06.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Pandian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.It is the case of the petitioner that his mother executed a registered settlement deed on 09.10.1998 in his favour settling the subject property. Based on this document, the petitioner submitted an online application before the respondent on 11.06.2025, seeking issuance of patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 11.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
