(1) That the award dated 05.01.2015 made in MCOP No.361 of 2014 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Special Court, Tirunelveli, be and hereby is confirmed and the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of.

(2) That the Interest awarded by the Tribunal is reduced to 7.5% p.a.
