Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writs of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent in his proceedings dated 15.10.2003 bearing No.Na.Ka.A1/4174/2003, quash the same and consequently direct the third respondent to issue patta to the petitioners in respect of her/his land situated in block 6 Punjai No.65, Old Survey No.1/1A1B1A1A2A1A1A1A and New S.No.124/2 part admeasuring 50 cents within the Sub Registration District of Joint Sub Registrar II Karaikudi and within the 1/3

registration district of Karaikudi.

*********** These writ petitions have been filed challenging the impugned order banning registration of documemnts in respect of two villages namely Kottaiyur Nattar and Iluppaikudi Devasthanam. 2.It is the contention of the petitioners that only due to the said ban, the petitioners' applications seeking for issuance of patta for the lands falling in the villages referred to supra were not considered.

3.On the last hearing date on 10.03.2022, it was represented by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that enquiry proceedings in the petitioners' applications seeking for issuance of patta has already commenced. After recording the same, this Court directed the fourth respondent to pass final orders based on the petitioners' applications seeking for issuance of patta within a period of two [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order dated 10.03.2022. 4.The matter is listed 'for reporting compliance' today. Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents has placed before this Court the final order dated 25.03.2022 passed in the applications filed by the petitioners seeking for issuance of patta under which the petitioners' patta applications have been rejected.

Reasons have been given in the order dated 25.03.2022, for rejecting the petitioner's patta applications and the same is taken on record today. The respondents are directed to serve a copy of the order dated 25.03.2022 to the petitioners to enable the petitioners to challenge the same in the manner known to them under law.

5.After recording the passing of the final order dated 25.03.2022 on the petitioners' patta applications referred to supra, these writ petition are disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioners to challenge the same if so advised in the manner known 2/3
