O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for earlier completion of investigation in Crime No.405 of 2022 dated 17.02.2022 registered against the petitioner for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner is a law graduate and a false case has been foisted against him and if at all a charge sheet is filed, he is prepared to challenge the same and thereby, he sought for suitable directions.
3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondent submits that the entire investigation is completed in this case and the charge sheet is also submitted by way of online and within short time, it will be numbered.
4. Since the very purpose for filing the present petition has already been fulfilled on account of completion of investigation and filing of charge sheet, this petition has become infructuous. 2/4
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
