Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.RANJIH KUMAR.P, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.MEENAKSHI SUNDARAM, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the 1st Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to dispense with the production of certified copy of the FIR in Crime No.62 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner, as a accused, is entitled to get a certified copy. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the certified copy need not be dispensed with. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

3. The reason stated by the Petitioner seeking stay of the investigation cannot be accepted in the light of the offences alleged against the Petitioner by the second respondent. Already there is a civil dispute between the Petitioner and the neighbours, for which, the FIR was registered. Hence, the reasons cannot be accepted in the absence of the certified copies of the documents regarding the civil dispute. Therefore, this petition has no merits.

4. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
