This petition is filed seeking to quash FIR in Crime No.18 of 2016 on the file of the 1st Respondent herein.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that final report has been filed by dropping the proceedings against the accused persons. A copy of the final report has also been circulated, wherein it shows that there is a compromise between the parties, the amount was returned to the defacto complainant by the third accused and the defacto complainant has given a statement that no further action is required in this matter. 3.In view of the compromise arrived between the parties, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition. Hence, the matter has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
