For Respondent : Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 171 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 379 of IPC, in Crime No.171 of 2021, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 14.10.2021 at about 09.30 p.m., the petitioners stolen CCTV camera in the panchayat office and it was found through another CCTV camera which has been fixed in the office. Based on the complaint given by the Panchayat President, the present case came to be registered. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocents and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.16478 of 2021 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police opposed for grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that the petitioners have stolen the CCTV camera which was recorded in another CCTV camera and the stolen camera is yet to be recovered.

5. Considering the objections raised by the learned Government Advocate and the conduct of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
