Prayer :- This petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to extend the emergency leave granted to the petitioners brother Ravindran, S/o. Subburaj a life convict Prisoner (C.P.No.6270) now confined under the Superintendent of Prison, Madurai, 3rd respondent herein for an additional period of 10 days vide order dated W.P.(MD) No.15472 of 2024 dated 26.07.2024 Prayer in WP(MD). 15472/ 2024 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in respect of impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent in E-37348/Tha.Ku.2/2024 dated 18.06.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant 10 days emergency leave without escort to petitioners brother namely Ravindran, S/o. Subburaj a life convict Prisoner now confined at Central Prison, Madurai for the purpose of attending illness of petitioners mother ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Thiru.Srikanth, for M/s. APN Law Associates for the Petitioner and of Thiru.A.Thiruvadikumar, Additional Public Prosecutor, for the respondent, this Court made the following order:

"When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition and made the following endorsement. 2/4
