This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members to enter into the property to do agricultural activities situated in Survey No.180/11, 180/12 in Viralimalai Village, Iluppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2.Heard both sides.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first and second respondents submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner the second respondent conducted enquiry and found that the entire issues are civil in nature. Therefore, police protection cannot be considered.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, if there is any dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent in respect of their property boundary and pathway, the petitioner can very well approach the revenue authorities to survey the land with the help of surveyors on the request of the petitioner. If the surveyor found any hindrance or difficulties to survey the properties, he can very well seek police protection before the second respondent.
