ORDER
The Writ Petition is directed against the rejection order dated 29.07.2024 passed by the third respondent on the ground that two groups are claiming to celebrate festival, that they have initiated enquiry in this regard and that there are possibilities for law and order issues. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the other group has not conducted the festival for the past three years.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the petitions given by one Muthmari and one Marimuthu two CSRs came to be registered in CSR 2/4
Nos. 84 of 2024 and 180 of 2024, that the enquiry is pending and that they will consider the request of the parties, if all the groups are ready to celebrate the festival jointly.
4.Considering the above and also taking note of the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation, if given for conducting festival jointly. 5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
