JUDGMENT
The appellant filed this Second Appeal to set aside the judgment and decree, dated 23.11.2009 passed in L.A.O.P.No.14 of 1997 on the file of the Sub Court, Palani.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (15.04.2025), both sides learned counsel submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties and a Joint Compromise Memo has also been filed. The learned Government Advocate and Tmt.Kiruthika, Revenue Inspector are present. The respondents 3, 4 and 5 and the learned counsel for the respondents are present before this Court. The identity proof of the parties is also verified. The contents of the Joint Compromise Memo were read over and explained to both parties in the presence of their counsel and both parties have accepted the same, as correct. The said Joint Compromise Memo is recorded.
3. In view of the above, this Second Appeal is disposed of. The Joint Compromise Memo shall form part of the decree. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
