2. It is the case of the petitioner that she participated in the selection process for the post of "Anganwadi Worker" pursuant to the notification dated 14.05.2025. However, no order has been passed till date. Earlier, the petitioner was not selected for the said post and she therefore filed W.P.(MD) No.5108 of 2019 before this Court. This Court, by its order dated 26.03.2019, after recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, issued a direction to the first respondent to consider the candidature of the petitioner. However, the said direction was not complied with by the respondents and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner participated in the selection process for the post of Anganwadi Worker pursuant to the notification dated 14.05.2025. Therefore, this Court may be pleased to issue a direction to the first respondent to pass appropriate orders in respect of the selection process.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction 3/6

Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the matter and it is open to the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 19.08.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes PKN To
