Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents more particularly the respondents 1, 3, 5, 7 not to permit anybody to increase the height, length and width of the Arasakulam Kanmoi situated in Survey No.202 Arasakulam Village, Senthattiyenthal Revenue Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District and thereby blocking / preventing the free flow of the water of the source channel of Mannar Mudiyenthal Kanmoi situated in Survey No.43 of Mannar Mudiyenthal Village, Erunchirai Revenue Village, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District and maintain the Arasakulam Kanmoi as per the measurement of the Government / Revenue Records based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2021 submitted to the respondents 1 & 2 respectively as well as resolution passed in the peace committee meeting dated 15.12.2021 conducted by the Revenue Officers, within the time limit that maybe stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. All that the petitioner seeks is consideration of the petition mentioned representation.
3. The fourth respondent is directed to enquire into the petition mentioned representation and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the fourth respondent to pass order one way or other. The fourth respondent shall put the interested persons on notice before passing the final order.
4. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
