This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.543 of 2017 pending before the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Keeranur, Pudukottai District, as against the petitioner.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the personal appearance of the petitioner is dispensed with.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with. The trial Court is directed to complete the trial, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. .
