dated 03.06.2021 and to file final report within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.Crime No. 471 of 2021, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH Act, on 03.06.2021. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 1 1⁄2 years, no progress has been made in the investigation. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents would submit that the investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned court as early as possible. 4.Perusal of CD file shows that so far no proper investigation has been undertaken and statements of the witnesses have not been recorded. The accused persons were arrested and released on bail. Further it was stated that frequent trouble has been created by the accused person while taking water.

5.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), there shall be a direction to the 2/4

respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 15 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry. In the meantime, if any trouble is created by the accused person, the respondent police as well as the defacto complainant is at liberty to move proper application for cancellation of bail.
