O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to complete the investigation in Crime No.04 of 2020, dated 03.06.2020 and to file final report within the time frame as fixed by this Court.
2.The petitioner's Bank is the defacto complainant in Crime No.04 of 2020 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 109, 417 and 420 of IPC, against four named and other unnamed accused persons on 03.06.2020. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of two years, no progress has been made in the investigation.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents would submit that the investigation is going under the right track and it will be completed within a period of 3 months and the final report will be filed before the concerned court.
4.Perusal of CD file shows that number of witnesses have been examined and communication has been sent calling for relevant records from the concerned Bank. It is also seen that all the accused persons in 2/4
this case were arrested.
5.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.
