Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to complete the enquiry regarding forged transfer of patta in respect of Survey No.44/8, New Survey No.124/11 at Chinnakattalai Village, Periyur Taluk, Madurai District following the proceeding of the second respondent in O.mu.No.1814/2021/[p3 dated 29.01.2021 within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent before whom the complaint had been given by the petitioner, dated 29.01.2021 and which had been forwarded by the second respondent, had not proceeded further with respect to the enquiry. Enquiry is with respect to the complaint of the petitioner that there has been a forged patta transfer.

2.Let me not enter into a discussion of the facts, but direct the third respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Usilmapatti, Madurai District, on behalf of whom Mr.J.John Rajadurai, learned Government Advocate takes notice that enquiry should be conducted in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.19399 of 2021 manner known to law by issuing notice to the petitioner and by calling the petitioner for enquiry and examine the documents produced by the petitioner and by also issuing notice to any other third party, who may be interested and thereafter, to conclude the enquiry within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3.With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
