PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent conclude the enquiry pending on his proceeding in Na.Ka.No.0787/2017/(A1), dated 27.05.2017, within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

************* The writ petition is filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction against the first respondent/The Revenue Divisional Officer, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District, to conclude the enquiry in the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.0787/2017/(A1), dated 27.05.2017. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the father of the petitioner died in the year 1998 and her uncle Venkatachalam died in the year 1990. Under the 'Natham Nila Vari Thittam', name of the uncle Venkatachalam was included in the village Adangal records and patta was granted in the name of the said Venkatachalam, who was only taking care of the property. The father of the petitioner did not sell the property to Venkatachalam or to anybody else. 3.The application has been filed by the petitioner on 23.11.2015 to change the patta and this application was taken up by the first respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Musiri Taluk and notice was issued for conducting an enquiry, dated 24.07.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

W.P(MD)No.19373 of 2021 4.It is claimed by the petitioner that she appeared for the enquiry, but the first respondent has not passed any orders. A direction is given to the first respondent to pass necessary orders on or before 31.01.2022 and if any further enquiry is required, make such further enquiry and dispose of and pass orders by 31.01.2022.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
