This Writ Petition was filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from converting the tank bund in Survey No.80/7, Karikali Village, Musiri Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District into a cart track or a road and for a further direction to the respondents to maintain the property in its original position.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents produced the written instructions received from the fourth respondent and it is stated therein that no road is proposed to be laid in the subject property. 2/4
