ORDER

Seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.319 of 2020 of Murappanadu Police Station, Thoothukudi District, the present petition is filed by the petitioners.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, both the counsel on record submitted that the matter has been compromised between the parties. The petitioners and the defacto complainant are present and a Joint Memo of Compromise is also filed before this Court, which is duly signed by both the petitioners and the second respondent and also by their respective counsels.

3. Recording the Compromise Memo dated 11.03.2024, the FIR in Crime No.319 of 2020 of the Murappanadu Police Station, Thoothukudi 2/4

District, is quashed against the petitioners alone. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the terms of joint compromise memo shall form part of this order. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
