Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2022 and to take necessary steps to include the petitioner and his relatives to participate in the said temple festivals.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2. The petitioner claims to represent some 75 families in his village. He is aggrieved by the fact that the private respondent is taking steps to conduct the Kumbabishekam by executing the petitioner and his relatives.

3. I went through the contents of the representation said to have been submitted by the petitioner to the District Collector, Ramanathapuram. The petitioner's complaint is that he has not been included in the Thirupani Committee. I wanted to know from the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as to whether the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department has issue any proceedings in this regard. The answer is in the 2/4

negative. The petitioner has dispute only with the private respondent. In such case, it is not open to the writ Court to interfere. The petitioner has to establish his rights only before the jurisdictional civil Court. No relief can be granted in this writ petition.

4. Leaving open other rights and remedies of the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
