Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5980 of 2018 2.The petitioner seeks police protection to her life and limb through a representation dated 15.03.2018. Now, 1 1⁄2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.
