O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the proceedings in D.V.C No. 138 of 2020 from the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Coimbatore to the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Karaikudi.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners herein are the parents of the 3rd respondent herein and in-laws of the first respondent herein. The first respondent and the 3rd respondent are wife and 1/4

husband. The first respondent and her son filed a petition in D.V.C.No.138 of 2020, before the Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore, against this petitioners and the 3rd respondent and the same is pending. Since the petitioners are senior citizens, they find it difficult to travel from Sivagangai to Coimbatore. Hence, the petitioners pray for transfer of investigation in D.V.C No. 138 of 2020 from the Judicial Magistrate Court, Coimbatore to the Judicial Magistrate Court, Karaikudi.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the materials available on record.

4. Since the petitioners are seeking for transferring the proceedings from the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore, which comes under the jurisdiction of the Principal Seat, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed by granting liberty to the petitioners to approach the Principal Seat. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
