PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to provide adequate protection to the petitioner from the 5th respondent in preventing any further 1/4

harassment against the petitioner by restoring the petitioners possession of her property, situated in Door No.187, 5th Anbiyam, Arockiapuram, Leepuram Post, Kanyakumari District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 25.06.2025 within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

Seeking police protection, the petitioner has approached this Court.

2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 and submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation on 20.06.2025 and the same was enquired by the respondent police in P2/34771/5449/SP/KKI/2025, 509/SDOKK/P2/2025 and 149/KKCO/P2/2025 and the same was closed as the issue is civil in nature and also the petitioner has not appeared for the enquiry. 2/4

3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to this petitioner, enabling her to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
