O R D E R

The petitioner filed W.P.(MD)No.28447 of 2023 seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of respondents 4 and 6 in the writ 1/4

2 CONT.P.(MD)NO.1837 OF 2024 petition. The writ petition was disposed of by me on 04.12.2023 by directing the jurisdictional Tahsildar to pass an order on the writ petitioner's representation within twelve weeks. Contending that the order has not been complied with, the petitioner filed this contempt petition.

2. Finding that the order passed by this Court has not been complied with, I issued statutory notice. The respondent is present in person. She informs that the delay in complying with the order was on account of the non-cooperation on the part of the petitioner. I do not want to go into the said aspect. On 20.09.2024, the Tahsildar, Gujiliamparai has passed an order rejecting the petitioner's request. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law.

3. Since the final order has now been passed, this contempt petition need not be kept pending. This contempt petition is closed. 04.11.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No PMU 2/4
