ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 30.10.2019 and the requisition letter submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai, vide D.No.2249 of 2020 dated 06/11/2020, this Court made the following order:

By order dated 30.10.2019, this Court directed the Court below to dispose of STC.No.58 of 2017 within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

2.The Court below has submitted a letter in D.No.2249/2020 dated 06.11.2020 wherein, the learned Judge stating that due to Covid-19 lockdown, trial could not be conducted from 17.03.2020 to 30.09.2020 and on 23.10.2020, was ready for cross examination, but the accused was not ready and therefore, the case was adjourned to 06.11.2020, has requested for extension of three months to comply with the above order dated 30.10.2019.

3.There is no objection on the side of the petitioner in extending the time limit.
