The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to take action on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 30.07.2022. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in C.No.317 of 2021. During the course of enquiry, it was found that both the petitioner as well as the defacto complainant appeared before the respondent police. But, however, the petitioner gave statement that the cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of Karur and so, he was advised to approach the DCP, Karur for appropriate relief. With the above said advise, it was closed on 10.09.2022.
3.But, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he belong to Vembur Village, Dindigul District. The entire investigation is only within the jurisdiction of Dindigul Police Station. 2/4
4.But, however, since the complaint has been closed as per the above said advise, the petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate action.
5.With the above said liberty, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
