O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a suspended Secretary of the Co-operative Society seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents 2 and 3 herein for disbursement of subsistence allowance.

2. According to the writ petitioner, he was suspended on 14.09.2021. However, the subsistence allowance was not paid. The first respondent, in proceedings dated 27.05.2022, had directed the respondents 2 and 3 to disburse the subsistence allowance. Subsistence allowance was disbursed only up to June 2022, and thereafter, subsistence allowance was not disbursed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus to disburse the balance subsistence allowance.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent herein is directed to disburse the eligible subsistence allowance to the writ petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
