PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2025, and to survey and fix the boundaries of his land comprised in Survey No.26/31, to an extent of 763 Sq.fts situated at Ramarajapuram Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, with the protection of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 12.06.2025, to survey the property situated in S.No. 26/31, to an extent of 763 sq.ft. in Ramajapuram Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District.
2.According to the petitioner, the subject property was originally purchased by the petitioner's brother, namely, Bose. He has executed a gift deed in favour of the petitioner on 12.12.2023. Thereafter, patta was also issued in the name of the petitioner. Based on the said revenue documents, the petitioner has submitted an application to survey of the property. However, due to the objection raised by the third respondent, the survey process has not been completed. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the first respondent, submits that originally the first respondent fixed 10.03.2025, as the date for survey of the subject property. However, due to the objection raised by the third respondent, the same has not been completed. 2/4
4.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the third respondent. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
