O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for earlier disposal of the maintenance case in M.C.No.3 of 2021 filed by the first petitioner/wife of the respondent against the respondent.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that even though the maintenance case has been filed in the year 2021 itself, the same has not been disposed of so far and that the application filed for grant of interim maintenance is also kept pending.

3. A copy of the proceedings before the trial Court would go to show that after appearance of the respondent, the case was adjourned from time to time for evidence of the petitioners' side. Since a petition is filed seeking interim maintenance, atleast the said petition should have been taken up on priority basis, however, the same is adjourned casually without assigning any valid reason.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, to dispose of 2/4
