O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings issued by the respondent in case No.53/2020-21, dated 13.08.2021 and quash the same as illegal.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e., 12.06.2024), the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the appeal provision is available against the impugned order passed by the first respondent. He would further submit that the Tamil Nadu Food Safety Appellate Tribunal has been formed vide G.O.(Ms)No.225, dated 11.06.2018, therefore, he requested this Court to transfer the writ petition to the Appellate Tribunal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner acceded the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, Registry is directed to transfer this Writ Petition to the Tamil Nadu Food Safety 2/4

Appellate Tribunal situated at DMS, Teynampet. The petitioner is directed to stick to the procedure followed by the Appellate Tribunal and file necessary papers, if required.
