ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the 1/4

impugned orders of the 2nd respondent dated 14.05.2022 and 08.08.2022 in connection with Crime No.22 of 2018 on the file of 2nd respondent Police quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to appoint an investigation officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police and monitoring by the 1st respondent.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that now the order has been passed by the first respondent directing the 2nd respondent to make further investigation in this matter and hence, the matter has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 2nd respondent. The second respondent also record the further statement of the petitioner. In the light of the statement to be given by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct and complete the investigation within a period of three months.
