This writ petition is filed for writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondents to sub-divide the petitioner's property situated at Thennambadi Village, Kulathur Taluk (now Viralimalai Taluk), 2/6

Pudukkottai District in Survey No.170/1 to an extent of 5 cents vide Document No.416/1991 and thereby, issue patta based on the petitioner's representation, dated 01.09.2021.

2.The said property was sub-divided. Pending writ petition, the petitioner has sold the property to the 3rd party. The buyer has approached the respondents for issuance of patta based on the sale deed. The respondents have considered the same and granted patta. 3.Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
