4. According to the petitioner, he was appointed as Salesman on 22.01.1991 in the ration shop run by the 2nd respondent and his service was regularized with effect from 01.10.1993. The grievance of the petitioner is that his pay scale was not revised properly as per G.O.Ms.No.25, dated 04.03.2020 which accorded selection grade and special grade salaries on completion of 10 and 20 years of service. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation on 03.07.2021 to the respondents 2 and 3 and thereafter, the 3rd respondent issued proceedings dated 20.07.2021 contrary to the above said G.Os. Hence, the petitioner preferred a revision before the 1st respondent on 16.08.2021 and since, it has been kept pending without disposal, the petitioner is before this Court.

5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the the revision of the petitioner would be considered and disposed of if it is otherwise in order in accordance with law.

6.In view of the above submission made by the learned Standing counsel for the respondents and also in view of the limited scope of prayer as sought by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on its merits, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's revision dated 16.08.2021 in accordance with law and on merits and pass appropriate order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
