ORDER

The petitioner / defacto complainant in Crime No.9 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police has filed this petition that the said case was 1/4

charge sheeted in the year 2024 in CC.No.106 of 2024, but there is no progress. Therefore, she has filed this petition seeking a direction to the trial court to dispose of the case in CC.No.106 of 2024 within a time stipulated by this court.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) on instructions submits that the occurrence had taken place on 06.03.2022. The complaint was lodged on 01.06.2023, the respondent police filed the final report on 30.11.2023 and it is also taken on file on 06.05.2024. Since the accused has not entered appearance, the trial is not progressed. He further submits that one Advocate Mr.Abdhul Sithique undertook to file memo of appearance for the accused. Therefore, for enabling him to file memo of appearance for the accused the case is adjourned to 03.09.2025.

3.This court considered the rival submissions made. 4.It appears that the final report filed in Crime No.9 of 2023 has been taken on file in CC.No.106 of 2024 on 06.05.2024, even then the accused have not entered appearance. Therefore, the learned Judicial 2/4
