ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The writ petitioner joined the respondent corporation as a Driver. He retired under voluntarily retirement scheme on 29.02.2020. His terminal benefits were not paid immediately. They were paid only in June 2021. It is obvious that the petitioner is entitled to interest for the belated payment. The respondents are, therefore, directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the delayed disbursement from the date of retirement of the writ petitioner till the date of actual payment. The interest amount shall be paid within a period of twelve weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.The writ petition is allowed on these terms.
