POCSO Act, 2012, in Crime No.35 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.Reading of the defacto complainant's complaint shows that the victim was subjected to forcible prostitution by all the family members. In the above said event, the petitioner had involved. On that ground he was implicated. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the victim girl were friendly. Later there was love affair between them. 4.Reading of the statement of the victim girl shows not even iota of truth in the statement of the petitioner. It is also stated that the petitioner also tortured the victim girl by scotching with cigarette. Such person is not entitled for any discretionary relief. I find no reason to differ from the view taken by the Special Court while dismissing the application. Even though he is in prison for more than one month, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. sd/- 31/07/2023 / TRUE COPY / /09/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
