ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned order dated 02.04.2018 in Mu.Mu.A3/677-2018, passed by the 2nd respondent.
2. It is now brought to the notice of the Court that as against the very same order, an appeal has been preferred before the District Revenue Officer, Thiruchirappalli, and it has been registered as Na.Ka.A.5/17022/2019. It clearly shows that the appeal has been filed as early as in the year 2019. Simultaneously, the writ petition has been filed. It is now informed that the District Revenue Officer has issued a notice calling the petitioner for an enquiry at his office on 03.10.2024 at 05.30 p.m and the copy of the same has been served on the learned Counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the District Revenue Officer, Thiruchirappalli, on the said date and proceed with this
appeal. It is needles to state that it is open for the petitioner to raise all his defence before the District Revenue Officer.
3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 25.09.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes jbr
