ORDER

The present petition has been filed by A1, A2 in Cr.No.74 of 2026 on the file of respondent seeking a direction to the Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai to accept the surrender of the petitioners and to consider the petitioners bail applications on the date of surrender.

2.Perused the records. Both the petitioners are juveniles and they are alleged to have committed the offences punishable under Sections 3(d), 4(2), 5(g), 5(1) r/w Section 6 of POCSO Act.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, both the petitioners are studying in the 10th standard and in case, if their bail applications are not considered on the same day, their entire career would be affected. 4.Considering the above said facts, there shall be direction to the Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider their bail applications on the date of surrender itself, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant. 2/4

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
