Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents herein to give police protection to the Petitioner at the time of closing his fish farming pond in Survey No. 214/4 of Melayanpattil Village.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to give police protection to the Petitioner at the time of closing his fish farming pond in Survey No. 214/4 of Melayanpattil Village.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner as against the fourth respondent, the second respondent issued CSR No.146 of 2018 and conducted enquiry in respect of the disputed property between the petitioner and the fourth respondent herein. Thereafter the third respondent found that the there is a dispute in respect of land and as such the complaint has been referred before the revenue authorities and it is pending on the file of the Revenue https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3.At this stage, police protection cannot be provided to the petitioner. Hence the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However the petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer for enquiry in the proceedings initiated by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai.
