PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No. 1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection and ensure the life and limp of the petitioner and his family members and to take necessary actions against the 5th and 7th respondents based upon the representation, dated 05.07.2025.

Seeking police protection, the petitioner has approached this Court.
2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and submits that the petitioner's complaint dated 05.07.2025 has been enquired by the respondent police in CSR No.524 of 2025 and it was closed as the issue is civil in nature among the family members, by advising the respective parties to approach the competent civil Court, to get the appropriate relief. The petitioner was intimated that for such civil dispute, police protection cannot be granted by the respondent police.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to this petitioner, enabling him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
