For Petitioner : Mr.I.Pinaygash For Respondents : Mr.SS.Madhavan Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to conduct the enquiry on the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 15.07.2023. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel that the petitioner's son was cheated by his wife, basing on which his son has filed a complaint on 15.03.2023 before the police and the same was closed by the police in CSR.No.74 of 2023. The petitioner has sent a representation dated 15.07.2023 alleging that the petitioner's daughter-in-law has taken 47 lakhs of gifts given by the petitioner and his relatives at the time of marriage and failed to come back matrimonial home for discharging of matrimonial obligations.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the representation given by the petitioner's son for reunion was closed in CSR.No.74 of 2023 and the representation dated 15.07.2023 given by the 2/5

petitioner is pending and submitted that shortly the respondent police will complete the enquiry.

4.Considering the circumstances, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police immediately, on which the respondent police are directed to enquire in respect of the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2023 and complete the same as expeditiously as possible, not later than two weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner.
