Prayer in W.P(MD).No.8273 of 2018: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Declaration, declaring the action of the respondents in granting license to the third respondent to run the canteen attached to the Regional Head Quarters of the first respondent Corporation at Periamilaguparai, Trichy Region, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, direct the respondents to conduct open tender cum auction to grant license to run the Canteen to cater to the need of the workmen of Trichy Region of the first respondent Corporation by publishing Notification in the newspapers having wide circulation and by strictly following the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and rules framed thereunder within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

cater to the need of the workmen of Trichy Region of the first respondent Corporation by publishing Notification in the newspapers having wide circulation and by strictly following the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and rules framed thereunder within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. In both petitions For Petitioners : Mr.B.Saravanan for Mr.A.Rahul For Respondents : Mr.S.C.Herold Singh for R1 and R2 C O M M O N O R D E R Today, when the matters are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the prayer sought for in the writ petitions has become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
