This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to take necessary steps to conduct the temple festival in Arulmighu Kadhiri Narasimman Thimmarayappa Perumal, Arulmighu Thatha Samy, Arulmighu Malaiyammal, Arulmighu Karuppanasamy situated at B.Renganathapuram, Mela Chokkanathapuram Post, Bodinaickannor Taluk,

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. It is seen that all the temples are private temples and they are not under the purview of HR & CE Department. Therefore, the respondents 1 to 4 have no jurisdiction to interfere with the dispute of the private temples. In view of the above, the representation of the petitioner cannot be considered. 2/4

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief, if so advised.
