Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manapparai to expedite the trial in CC No.32 of 2019 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Manapparai within stipulated time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manapparai to expedite the trial in CC No.32 of 2019 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Manapparai within stipulated time frame fixed by this Court. 2.Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of two years, there is no progress in the trial process. Since the petitioners 1 & 3 are aged about 58 & 63 years respectively, they want the matter to be disposed of at the earliest. 3.Considering the request made by the petitioner, there shall be direction to the Judicial Magistrate Court, Manapparai to expedite the trial process and complete the same on merits, within five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After disposal of the case in CC No.32 of 2019, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.
