O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to take the Petitioner's appeal, dated 2.6.2025 on file and dispose the same within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, on the application submitted by the fourth respondent, the second respondent passed an order on 12.9.2020 in Na.Ka.A1/5008/2019, cancelling the earlier order passed by him on 21.1.2019 with regard to the FMB sketch for the property in S.NOs.642/9 and 642/11 in Malli Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk. Aggrieved by the said order, the Petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 2.6.2025 and the same has not been taken on file by the first respondent. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the aforesaid relief.

4.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the Petitioner filed an appeal beyond the period of limitation and therefore, if proper application is filed explaining the delay, the same will be considered in accordance with law. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the Petitioner is directed to file an application for condonation of delay in filing the revision petition, under Section 15(2) of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On submission of the said application, the first respondent shall consider the said application of the Petitioner and pass final orders in the condone delay application within a period of 8 weeks thereafter. In case, if the delay is condoned, the revision shall be numbered and the same shall be disposed of within a further period of 12 weeks.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
