The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to correct the UDR records with regard to the property of the husband of the Petitioner in Door NO.8-1-30A/1 in S.No.1610/31 situated at Ayyalur Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District and issue patta in the name of Petitioner by considering his representation, dated 2.7.2025. 2.Mr.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the fourth respondent. By consent of both parties,the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/6
23.According to the Petitioner, the subject property has been in his possession and enjoyment for the past several years and the residential house in the subject property was put up by the Petitioner after obtaining necessary permission from the competent authority. In the village 'A' Register and Resurvey Register, the entire S.No.1610 was classified as 'Village Natham'. However, during UDR up-dation, the subject property has been wrongly classified as ''Kaliyamman Koil vacant site and Lane'' .Therefore the Petitioner submitted the instant Writ Petition seeking reclassification of the land as Village Natham and issue of patta in the name of Petitioner. The same has not been considered. Hence the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
4.Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the request of the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 2.7.2025 and pass final 3/6
orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner, the persons in charge of administration of Kaliyammal Koil aforementioned and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
